Weekend Review

Weekend Ball: Trisha had a fun 30th birthday party with an amazing selection of appetizers. I guess when you hit your 30s it becomes more about discriminating taste and less about getting wasted. Which is a shame, because it makes me feel old as I am only 9.5 months away from the 30s myself. That is why I am giving the game ball to Amanda Sapp, Trisha's sister, and Becky who threw caution to the wind and got trashed with youthful exuberance. --Happy Birthday to both Trisha and Alice!

Weekend Goat: The Texas Longhorns basketball team, who lost to Oklahoma. Any loss to OU by baseball (of which Texas is currently National Champions), football (of which Texas is currently National Champions), basketball, or any sport for that matter is disgraceful and unacceptable. Hopefully the team will rebound and win the Big 12 and possibly a National Championship, but this loss carries a sour taste in my mouth at the moment, and I am thoroughly disgusted.
