Arrived in Lima

I arrived late last night in Lima, or as the locals call it "Ciudad de Jorge". Jorge is a legend here, his picture plastered on almost every billboard. The taxi driver actually gave me a free ride after I told him I was from Atlanta, "Nuevo Casa de Jorge". My flight was delayed a bit so I didn´t get in until around 1 AM local time (2 AM EST). I had a nice single serving friend on the airplane(Fight Club reference) who has been all over South America for business and pleasure. He gave me some good insights. Today I´ve just been walking around Lima, the public transportation has to be about the most difficult to figure out of anywhere I´ve been. The people here are very nice and helpful and my espanol is already starting to come out. One funny note is the casinos, it seems most are named after American cities, Hollywood, New York, Reno. Hopefully Jorge is as revered in the rest of Peru as he is in Lima. If he is, I'll be name dropping a lot!

make sure you mention my middle name: Antonio, and my second last name Contreras, otherwise people will be confusing me with my dad - not as influential as yours truly.
